How should sensible people respond to divisive attacks on the poor and vulnerable? Should we begin making similar distinctions between the worthy and unworthy rich? Should we affirm those who earned their great wealth and provide social benefit but rescind all advantages given to those who use their inherited wealth to squeeze the people and their government for still more?
It should be obvious that social polarity is not between Democrat and Republican, or between liberal and conservative, but rather where it has always derived, between rich and poor.
GOP Senate Candidate: Republicans Must Turn Poor against Each Other (Video)
Watch N.C. House Speaker Thom Tillis explain: .“What we have to do is find a way to divide and conquer the people who are on assistance,”
OMG! How do people truly think no one will notice when they say things like this? I’ve met some lazy losers in my life, I can think of 3 over the last 35 years – the rest who received aide always had mitigating circumstances –
I also watch people who have good retirement incomes and summer homes/rvs take any chance they can to grab at low/no-cost items donated and meant to help those down on their luck – –
If the poor are to be grouped into camps, I say we make groups for others, as well –
“pulling their own weight, helping when and how they can”
vs.
“selfish jacks who will take any opportunity presented to keep from spending their own money.”
🙂
Good way of explaining, and nice paragraph to get data regarding my presentation subject matter, which i am going to present in school.
